Last fall I wrote a review for this very wonderful burger tome. Suzi and I have been cooking our way through and the publisher just sent me a new copy. The response to this burger bible has led to additional printings. Take a look and you'll know why. There's still weeks of summer left and fall is always time for "one laste" stint on the barbecue. This is an excellent way to keep summer alive.

Andy Husbands and Chris Harts are most accomplished restaurteurs and authors based in Boston. When Chris enters barbecue competitions, he wins. Their latest book collaboration is Wicked Good Burgers and wicked good they are.

Oh, you say, burgers. Oh, well, it's only a burger.

Don't think that way. I know, burgers are fast food and merely ground meat and, and, and …

There are a million reasons to ignore burgers. Actually, millions. All those fast-food burgers we consume as a nation each day really to a disservice to this very great meal. You can read my whole review at the Huffington Post. This is the best burger book in years. Follow its guidance, and you will have not just a burger but a great meal. This is book for your Ph.D. in burgerology. Don't miss it.

Oh, here's a photo of the duck burger. If you don't like beef, you'll find ideas for lamb, mushroom, black bean, tuna, salmon and more in Wicked Good Burgers.
