Cooking by the Book is America’s premier culinary team building authority. Founded in 1989 by Suzen O’Rourke in her New York City loft, Cooking by the Book brings together corporate groups from 12 to 40 in a state-of-the-art professional kitchen to engage in hands on, collaborative cooking more than 200 times a year.

Our most popular programs, the TeamBuilder and The Challenge, are dynamic platforms for team building interaction and development, led by Cooking by the Book culinary advisors - professional chefs with highly evolved communication and culinary skills, as well as many years of experience.

For groups of 50 to 100, CBTB OFFSITE offers custom programming at several partner lofts and designer kitchens located throughout Manhattan. Take a flavorful Culinary Tour of Italy or enjoy the delicious Small Bites, Big Sips at Glass Houses and other five star venues, including Room Studio, Home Studios, Midtown Loft, Peter White Studios, 632 on Hudson and the new Wolf Sub Zero Designer Showroom.
We return to Cooking by the Book because of the way our teams learn to interact, that carries back into the workplace.
